This grand global investor summit and a perfectly crafted phenomenal Drone Show highlighted the vision of the Yogi-Modi duo.

Krishna Mishra “Gautam”

While sharing his journey, he thanked the Central and State Government for hosting the summit. He said that the enthusiasm and energy with which Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are pushing for the development of the state is commendable. Dr. Prasun says there is a sincere effort to make a difference and a strong commitment from the leadership toward the development of UP and India. As a result, the speed of this development engine has accelerated; there is no doubt about it. Dr. Prasun explained this and other points in detail during his recent visit to India.

👉Q- How did you feel after coming to the Global Summit???

It was an honor to join GIS in Lucknow as a representative of the United States of America. I am happy to note that during the year of the G20 Presidency, India and the Government of Shri Narendra Modi have taken bold steps to attract investors. Yogi – Modi’s dynamic leadership attracted leading industrialists like Anil Ambani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, and N Chandrasekhar to the summit, who shared their investment plans in UP and India. Besides Yogi and Modi Ji’s speeches, I also enjoyed the insight and leadership of Shri Rajnath Singh (Defence Minister), Shri Amit Shah (Home Minister), and Shri Mansukh Mandaviya (Health Minister) in this initiative.
Also, I was particularly impressed to see the construction of a five-star tent city for the event. As a resident of one of these cities for a few days, I can confirm the quality of the tents and the better service provided to the delegates. Also, I enjoyed the cultural program presented by the most talented and talented artists. Plus, a fully prepared unprecedented drone show highlighting the vision of the Yogi-Modi duo.

👉 Q- How do you see the leadership of the state government??

I appreciate CM Yogi Adityanath ji’s work to make UP one of India’s leading states for investment. Appreciate the hospitality of Shri Yogi Adityanath and his government and the mission to meet the investment target of ₹17 lakh crore, some of which were already committed by investors. I also appreciate the Central and State governments’ joint efforts to enhance further the ease of doing business in India. I also truly admire Yogi Ji’s effort to shift the ease of doing business in UP from red tape to red carpet for investors. I appreciate Yogi Ji’s four pillars approach designed to help investors, which include:
1) Online single window portal Nivesh Mitral brings together 33 departments and 406 services, all available online
2) Investor relationship management portal Nivesh Sarathi to guide investors
3) An online Incentive Management System
4) Investors will have a local business leader as a friend/ buddy assigned to them

👉Q – As an investor, what features did you see in the conference??

As an investor, it was a very informative summit as I could hear directly from all the key government officials and stakeholders in GIS. I enjoyed the opening ceremony, where PM Narendra Modi described Uttar Pradesh as a growth engine. PM Modi’s progress mantra for India has been reform, perform, and transform, focusing on policy, stability, coordination, and ease of business. He also mentioned that India had shown remarkable resilience and unprecedented recovery after the COVID crisis, and now worlds, all the credible bodies attest that India’s economic growth will continue. Indians have regained their confidence and want to see their country develop. Hence, people and the government is pushing this growth agenda throughout the country. The government has already committed significantly to infrastructure, health, education, social infrastructure, and green growth.

👉Q – What would you say about Yogi Adityanath??

As a fellow karma yogi, I appreciate Yogi Adityanath Ji’s mission to make UP one of India’s leading states for investment. Just taking the example of the GIS summit, which was the culmination of intense preparation by Yogi Ji and his government. Moreover, over 25 regional policies were formulated and redrafted by Yogi Ji’s government, and 16 international roadshows were organized before the event. Many of these efforts materialized at the summit. For example, Singapore signed an agreement to implement a pilot project on the efficacy of smart water technologies to enhance the state’s sustainability and an industry MoU. A Joint Partnership Committee will oversee the project. Alessandro Liberatori, Trade Commissioner of the Italian Embassy, compared the speed of progress between the two countries to the speed of bullet trains. He identified smart cities, smart grids for mobility, electricity distribution, storage, etc.

👉Q- You belong to the pharma sector; how did you feel??

I was fond of various participatory sessions and one on biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and MSMEs. I genuinely admire the UP government’s plan to build a pharmaceutical manufacturing hub within UP. It was also fun to learn from Indian startups that became unicorns. I also met healthcare investors worldwide, including some investor friends from the San Francisco Bay Area, who shared my feelings.

👉Q- What are your thoughts after joining this entire session??

This is truly a new Uttar Pradesh and a new India. All I can say is, “I’ll be back. ”
